Supporting documents included are in the areas listed below.
Key evidence for the petition comes from the time when both the U.S. citizen and the foreign fiance(e) have met each other in person in less than two years before filing the I-129F. Pieces of evidence of meeting in person stretch from travel passes and receipts to photographs of being together.
The petitioner and the beneficiary are required to establish their intent to marry as voluntary and mutual. Proof of termination of previous marriage(s) is necessary if either the U.S. citizen or the foreign fiance(e) has married before.
The petitioner must include proof of their U.S. citizenship by birth or naturalization in the I-129F. Only U.S. citizens have the prerogative to bring their foreign fiance(e) to the U.S. through a K1 Visa.
The petitioner and the beneficiary disclose biographic information that span relevant periods of the past and the present such as addresses and employers. Criminal records will also be disclosed to each other.
The current payment for the petition is $340. The USCIS accepts money orders and personal checks.
Although Form I-129F only has three pages, don't be surprised if your package reaches 50 pages or more by the time you submit it to the USCIS.
